Every family should be able to travel and create memories together. A cancer diagnosis and medical bills shouldn’t be a deterrent to that!
The Remember to Live Foundation believes in the power of cherished memories, especially during life's toughest battles. We provide families facing the heartbreaking challenges of late-stage breast cancer with the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable vacation together that will create lasting memories for the rest of each of their lives.
Our goal is to create joyful experiences that strengthen bonds and foster lasting memories for families as they navigate a devastating cancer journey. Every trip we facilitate is tailored to help these families embrace love and happiness, ensuring that the time they spend together becomes a beautiful family memory.
Every moment matters and noone is guaranteed another. Join us in making an impact in the lives of these families so they have an opportunity to enjoy a moment together and focus on living!
Who We Are
-
Cameron Teske
FOUNDER
Cameron watched with helplessness as his late-wife, Lauren, battled breast cancer for two years. He vowed to ensure some good would come from a terrible situation. Cameron & Lauren were fortunate enough to take their son, Brekken, on a couple trips that were ultimately some final memories. Cameron created Remember to Live Foundation to provide families with an all-too-familiar situation an opportunity to create their own memories during a time they need it most.
-
Brekken
INSPIRATION
Brekken’s Mama, Lauren, was diagnosed with Stage IV Triple Negative Breast Cancer when he was just 6-months old. He was able to create some amazing final memories with her on a family vacation to Disney World for his 2nd birthday and Banff, Canada for Mama’s 32nd Birthday. Lauren passed away when Brekken was 2 ½ years old. The pictures and stories are how he remembers her!
